The role of a techniker is not easy at all. Infact it is quite demanding and challenging. If someone is stagnant and doesn`t believe in being versatile he or she would have to encounter career problems in long run. If I say that the concerned person is an electrical or mechanical techniker, it would indicate that the same person is aware of the entire field in all degree and content. He should also get updated with the recent trends and happenings in his field of interest. The more we update ourselves with current things, the more we will be attuned to the emerging changes in the field. If a techniker feels that whatever he has read way back in his institute or college is enough and there is no need to update him then that would be very incorrect. Versions change in minutes as we all know. So assuming that his knowledge would remain intact forever and there will be no changes only indicates one`s stringency. Internet comes handy very much here as it is loaded with information on everything. Surfing the net and doing online study would enable the techniker to keep himself abreast with whatever is happening in and around his field of expertise. Redundancy has no place and if the topic of interest here is knowledge then it becomes all the more important to take that extra care. No one wants to wear the same cloth day in and day out. A person can wear the same for few days but after sometime he would feel the need to buy new clothes. This is an example of keeping oneself acclimatized to the changing preferences in dressing and also to realize the importance of looking good.
